Job Vacancies -Mobile Childcare Servcie · 20 June 08
Catkins on the Move is a new project which aims to remove barriers to participation and provide high quality flexible short term childcare solutions for the local community, training services, weddings, corporate events, family occasions etc.
Longford Women’s Link in association with Catkins on the move wishes to recruit a number of posts in the new Mobile Childcare enterprise “Catkins on the Move” launching this autumn…
Childcare Supervisor/administrator
(Full Time/possible job share)
The successful candidate will ideally have at a minimum FETAC level 5 Childcare Award or equivalent and experience of working in a childcare facility at supervisory level. Duties will also include ensuring compliance will all regulations and procedures, setting up and supervision of temporary crèches, leading a team, or teams of childcare workers, liaising with parents and the supervision of various “on-site” crèches, reporting directly to the manager. A full Driving licence is also a requirement. Administration skills are desirable.
Experienced Childcare Workers
(x 6 Part time, flexible hours)
The successful candidates will ideally have at a minimum FETAC level 4 Childcare Award or equivalent, and experience of working with children and the ability to work in a team is essential. It will involve working in different temporary crèches and travel to different areas will be involved. Working hours are flexible and may vary from week to week. It may also involve some weekend work. Full driving license would be an advantage.
