Thursday 5 April : Family Fun Day at Longford Women's Link. A Day of fun and games at our Centre here at Ardnacassa Avenue.
Sunday 22 April : Mother & Daughter Lunch in Lough Rynn Castle. A glamorous day out for all the ladies at the fabulous Lough Rynn Castle.
Saturday 26 May: Joint Fundraising Golf Classic at Longford Golf Club for Longford Women's Link and The Attic Youth Club. Try your hand at golf, its for two good causes!
Monday 4 June : Flora Women's Mini Marathon - would you like to walk, jog or run for a local charity ? We have sponsorship cards for the Mini Marathon.

Since Longford Women’s Link has formed, it has provided vital resources, services, support, training etc for many reasons to women in the community in Co. Longford and beyond. To help us keep up the good work we need continued funding to ensure the good work keeps going. Although we do receive funding from various agencies (link to funders acknowledgement page) and this is greatly appreciated, we do not receive “Core Funding” to cover many of our basic costs and outgoings (e.g. a leaky roof).
VOLUNTEERING
We have a number of fundraising events coming up at LWL. If you would like to volunteer for a couple of hours flag day collection, bag packing or Santa's Helper at Santa Grotto in Longford Shopping Centre, please call Laura on 087 7473744. Details of the events are list below:
FUNDRAISING EVENTS 2012
Churchgate Collection:
Covering the entire Town and County of Longford on Saturday and Sunday, 28 and 29 January 2012. We need to cover a large nunmber of masses within the County so your help would be greatly appreciated.

Flag Day: Longford Town in November
Bag Pack: Dunnes Stores, Longford in December

We also accept any good quality used toys (with CE mark only please) that you may no longer have any use for, including arts & crafts etc. for Catkins Nursery, and Catkins on the Move, Mobile Childcare service.
